You look like such a great shop, and I would love to come and pick up some of your wonderful yarns. But I work until 6 every weekday and am out of town every weekend. Sometimes I can get back to Milwaukee on Sundays, but Saturday is pretty much out of the question. Are you considering having at least one weekday when you’re open in the evening?

I am actually working on a winter schedule that would reflect the reality of how late I’m open. On days that I teach classes (Tuesdays and Thursdays), I keep the shop open to the public. I just need to solidify the advertised hours and then make he announcement soon. 🙂

I am a parent of a child with autism. We recently found an amazing knitting project that makes therapeutic sensory swings for children with autism. I am apart of several groups that could use these swings but we need experienced knitters. The pattern is here

Swings are a tool to provide calming sensory proprioceptive input. They can be prohibitively expensive so this project would be an amazing help to these families.

Let us know if this is something your knitters might be interested in getting involved .

Thanks for any help you can offer.
